High school juniors win a trip to Washington D.C.

Range, in conjunction with the Foundation for Rural Service, is again sponsoring a contest for high school juniors to win what has been referred to as a “trip of a lifetime”.

One high school junior will be selected to receive an all-expenses-paid trip to Washington, D.C. to participate in the Foundation for Rural Service Youth Tour, June 1-5, 2022. To enter the contest, students must write a short essay that is no more than 250 words or no more than a five-minute video, “Why broadband is important for your rural community and how it will impact the future of America”.

Essays must be postmarked no later than Feb. 25, 2022, and mailed to Range, Attn: Youth Tour, PO Box 127, Forsyth, MT 59327 or emailed to [email protected]. For complete details including complete eligibility requirements, visit range.net/community.

The Youth Tour is a chance for students to visit our nation’s capital and learn about rural broadband, share their community’s story with key legislative, regulatory and government figures as well as a forum for them to meet and interact with their peers from other rural communities.
