Chester Guidinger, a partner of Edgar Partlow in the Gamble Store here for the past year, last week purchased the interest of Partlow in the business and has assumed private ownership and management of the store. Guidinger said Monday that the store would be completely restocked within the next two weeks.
Members of the Town Council meeting in regular session Monday Night accepted the resignation of Chas. B. Chittim as town councilman. Chittim tendered his resignation early last month. The council appointed Amos Ewing to fill the unexpired term of Claude Sackett who has left Sundance for Newcastle.
Cecil Crago is now barbering in the Sundance Barber Shop. He is a graduate of the Salt Lake Barber College. Wes Jorgensen, who has been barbering in the local shop the past eight months, will go to Kimball, Nebraska. Mr. and Mrs. Crago are living at the Rounds apartments.

Crook county's first baby of 1972, born at Crook County Memorial Hospital, is Jeana Long, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Long, Sundance. The first baby and her parents will win a large variety of prizes offered by local firms.
The Rev. Stanley C. Cliver, 47, is the new vicar for the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Sundance. He and his family arrived in Sundance last month. He and his wife Marceline have three children – Greg, serving in the Air Force; Stanley Keith, attending Southwestern College, Memphis, Tenn.; and Marcia Ann at home.

The Bearlodge Ranger District of the Black Hills National Forest recently announced the appointment of Dave Pieper as District Ranger. Dave is taking the place of retired District Ranger Tom Farver. Dave recently arrived in the Sundance with his wife and three children.
Sundance High School freshman Robby Follum has been selected for the 1998 All-State Band. Robby is the first student from Sundance to be selected in five years. The size of the All-State Band has decreased in the past two years from 180 to 120 members, so making the band this year is quite an honor.
