The Sundance Lady Bulldogs wrapped up their volleyball regular season Friday night against the Big Horn Rams. It was a tough go for the Lady Bulldogs, who were down two key players.
Despite a valiant effort, the Bulldogs dropped their final conference matchup in three games, 11-25, 23-25, 18-25.
Although the regular season did not end how they had hoped, the Bulldogs will be back on the court preparing for postseason play.
“Heading into regionals we are seeded well, so I have high hopes for a successful tournament. We will be working on being more aggressive at the net so we can drive the game more with our offense than our defense,” head coach Chelsey Blasczyk commented.
The Bulldogs end their regular season with a 14-10-1 overall record and 5-3 in the conference.
The Bulldogs go into postseason play the number two seed in the north and will face the number three seed from the south, the Lusk Tigers, on Friday in Tongue River at 11 a.m. in the Tongue River high school. Win or lose, the Bulldogs will play again at 5 p.m. that night.
