PROCEEDINGS OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AT THE COURTHOUSE IN SUNDANCE, CROOK COUNTY, WYOMING

10:00 o’clock a.m. Present for the special meeting were Vice-Chairwoman Jeanne A. Whalen, Member Fred M. Devish and County Clerk Linda Fritz.

Present to discuss the redistricting plan for Region 6 were Senator Ogden Driskill, Representative Hans Hunt, Representative Chip Neiman, Senator Jeff Wasserburger, Representative John Bear, Senator Troy McKeown, Representative Bill Fortner, Representative Christopher Knapp, Campbell County Clerk Susan Saunders and Deputy Kendra Anderson, Weston County Clerk Becky Hadlock and Deputy Amber Prell, Campbell County Commissioner Colleen Faber and Weston County Commissioners Don Taylor, Tony Barton and Marty Ertman and Deputy County Clerk Melissa Jones. Members of the public were also present.

The Legislative Services Office gave a tutorial on the mapping portal for redistricting. Senator Driskill explained his mapping plan for Region 6 and LSO mapped out the basic area. Discussion was held. Campbell County will be holding their redistricting meeting next week, but there was a general concurrence amongst the attendees with Senator Driskill’s plan.

The meeting adjourned at 12:11 o’clock p.m. to meet in regular session on October 5 & 6, 2021 at 8:30 o’clock a.m., in the Commissioner Room at the Courthouse in Sundance, Wyoming.
