The Town Council met this day at 5:30 pm to hold a special meeting with the following agenda items:

Public Hearing for the transfer liquor license

Dime Horseshoe Bar-Lucky Horseshoe Enterprises, LLC

And

Business located at 317 N West St.

Mayor Brooks with Council members Hilty, Stevenson, Wilson, Marchant, and Clerk Treasurer Kathy Lenz were in attendance. Members of the public present: Mike Hooper and Stacey Bennett.

Mayor Brooks opened the public hearing at 5:30 pm for comments from the public. Hearing no comments- COUNCIL MEMBER STEVENSON MOVED, COUNCIL MEMBER WILSON SECONDED a motion to transfer liquor license issued to N2Deep Enterprises dba Dime Horseshoe Bar to Lucky Horseshoe Enterprises, LLC. All ayes, MOTION CARRIED.

Discussion was held on the possibility of opening a mechanic business at 317 N West Street. The council reviewed letters from adjacent neighbors in support of the business. Mr. Hooper operated a business from this location in 2010. Council also reviewed comments from the Land Use Planning Commission regarding the zoning rules. COUNCIL MEMBER STEVENSON MOVED, COUNCIL MEMBER WILSON SECONDED a motion to award a variance to the High-Density Residential Zoning that would allow Mike Hooper at 317 N West Street to open a mechanic business. COUNCIL MEMBER STEVENSON AMENDED HIS MOTION, COUNCIL MEMBER WILSON SECONDED THE AMENDMENT to allow the variance as long as Mr. Hooper owns the property, but the variance would not be extended to new owners. Mayor Brooks called for a vote on the Amendment to the original motion. All ayes, MOTION CARRIED. Mayor Brooks then called for a vote on the original motion. All ayes, MOTION CARRIED.

There being no additional business before the council Mayor Brooks adjourned the special meeting at 5:40 p.m.
