All Saturday and Sunday a searching party was looking through the dense timber in the Cement Ridge country for August Schleichart, of Lead City, who had been missing from home since Saturday noon. Mr. Schleichart owns mining property on the head of Spotted Tail creek, and started out to go around his lines and put up new stakes and notices. His physical condition is poor and as the day was very hot it is surmised that he was overcome and wandered aimlessly in the brush. He recovered his senses about 4 o’clock Sunday afternoon and made his way home, having covered several miles and was far beyond the scope of the searching party.

In fact, Fred says the wheels are turning the same as ever, and the intention is to improve the service and equipment as fast as conditions will warrant.
