To conclude the first week back to school at Sundance Elementary, four buses filled with 220 students and 40 staff embarked on an excursion to the Sundance White Ranch Park on Thurs., Aug. 26. The main purpose of the outing was to celebrate the start of a new school year and to have fun together building on the team community the school has established. It was a great way for students and staff to enjoy some time together outside at a new beautiful venue for outdoor exploration. There were lots of stories, laughter and words of encouragement throughout the morning. Decker's Market supplied the students with snacks and the George and Betty White Foundation provided bottled water for the excursion.
