Crook County welcomes a new caseworker for WYO HELP, a community action agency that has expanded to now be available here. Elise Hanslip says she is thrilled to represent the agency’s goals in this county.
“WYO HELP has intrigued me from the beginning. We don’t offer a simple hand out. My primary role as a case manager is to offer our clients a method to become self-sufficient,” she says.
“With the tools that we have, auto repair, mental health, ability to help with minor home repairs and decreasing hunger, we are providing a step for self-sufficiency and self-worth.”
