PROCEEDINGS OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AT THE COURTHOUSE IN SUNDANCE, CROOK COUNTY, WYOMING

THURSDAY, JULY 15, 2021

9:00 o’clock a.m. Present for the Final Budget Hearing were Chairman Kelly B. Dennis, Vice-Chairwoman Jeanne A. Whalen, Member Fred M. Devish and County Clerk Linda Fritz.

The Pledge of Allegiance was recited to the Flag.

Discussion was held and no written or oral objections were received on the presented final budget. Jeanne moved to approve the following resolutions for the Crook County Fiscal Year 2021-2022 Final Budget:

APPROPRIATION RESOLUTION GENERAL FUND:

WHEREAS, on the 15th day of July 2021, Linda Fritz, B- 1 County Commissioners 165,935.20

the budget making authority, prepared and submitted to B- 2 County Clerk 250,497.71

the Board a county budget for the 2021-2022 fiscal year B- 3 County Treasurer 259,199.70

ending June 30, 2022; and B- 4 County Assessor 255,865.90

B- 5 County Sheriff 995,566.40

WHEREAS, such a budget was duly entered at large upon B- 6 County Attorney 262,547.43

the records of this Board and a copy thereof was made B- 9 County Coroner 41,378.00

available for public inspection at the office of the County B-10 Extension Department 79,779.00

Clerk; and B-11 District Court 122,229.10

WHEREAS, notice of a public hearing on such budget, B-14 Road and Bridge 2,759,113.34

was published in the Sundance Times, a legal newspaper B-16 Jail 530,281.07

published and of general circulation in the county on the B-17 Elections 28,640.00

WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on such budget B-20 Other General Accounts 1,935,394.37

B-32 Federal Grants 1,041,757.30

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of B-33 State Grants 149,783.57

County Commissioners that the county budget, as so B-35 Haul Road Restoration 560,033.09

revised and altered, be adopted as the official county TOTAL APPROPRIATIONS 11,764,502.48

budget for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2022; B-97 Emergency Reserve 1,172,801.93

B-98 Depreciation Reserve 410,301.14

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the following B-99 Cash Reserve 2,600,000.00

appropriations be made for the 2021-2022 fiscal year TOTAL REQUIREMENTS 15,947,605.55

ending June 30, 2022 and that the expenditures of each County Fair 175,864.22

officer, department or spending agency be limited to the County Library 672,629.20

RESOLUTION TO PROVIDE INCOME NECESSARY TO FINANCE BUDGET

WHEREAS, on the 15th day of July, 2021 this Board adopted a County Budget for the 2021-2022 fiscal year

ending June 30, 2022 calling for the following appropriations:

  General Fund 15,947,605.55  

  Fair Fund 175,864.22  

  Library Fund 672,629.20  

  Weed and Pest 782,862.00  

  W & P Special Management 1,215,162.00  

  TOTAL 18,794,122.97  

And WHEREAS, after deducting all other cash and estimated revenue, it is necessary that the following amounts

be raised by general taxation, and in order to raise such sums of money, it is necessary that levies be made for

the 2021-2022 fiscal year ending June 30, 2022 as shown opposite each fund:
