Pee-Wee Princess

Gabby Dewey

Gabby Dewey is the daughter of Travis and Gina Dewey of Carlile, Wyoming. She will be a fifth grader this fall at Moorcroft K-8 School. She enjoys rodeoing and going camping with her family. When she is home, she loves spending time with her goats.

Gabby participates in basketball and volleyball, as well as Little Britches Rodeos, Crook County Youth Rodeos, and Coal Country Rodeos.

Gabby is a member of the County 18 Homesteaders 4-H club. She serves her community by helping neighbors brand and do cattle work, as well as helping babysit at different functions. Her scholastic ambition is to attend college in Powell, Wyoming to become an agricultural education teacher.

She would like to represent Crook County as the next Rodeo Pee-Wee Princess so she can represent rodeo in Crook County and educate other kids about the purpose of rodeo and becoming rodeo royalty. Gabby is sponsored by Greg and Cindy Gill of Moorcroft, and Bill and Carol Dewey of Carlile.

Jentri Waldrop

Jentri Waldrop is the daughter of John and Trisha Waldrop of Moorcroft, Wyoming. She will be a fourth grader this fall at Moorcroft K-8 School. She enjoys taking care of her horses and other animals, hunting, fishing and shopping. Jentri participates in volleyball and basketball.

Jentri is a member of the Beef and Bridle 4-H Club. She also helps her community through activities with her 4-H Club.

Jentri’s goal is to compete in barrels and poles at the local rodeos this year. Her scholastic ambition is to be a good student and achieve good grades.

She would like to represent Crook County as the next Rodeo Pee-Wee Princess so she can be a role model for others, and have fun with her horse. She would also like to grow in her horsemanship skills and experience more rodeo activities. Jentri is sponsored by John and Trisha Waldrop of Moorcroft.

Junior Princess

Raelee Riesland

Raelee Riesland is the daughter of Dave and Susan Riesland of Oshoto, Wyoming. She will be a 7th grader this fall through Wyoming Connections Academy.

She enjoys reading and horseback riding. Raelee participates in numerous rodeo events including barrel racing, pole bending, flag racing, bareback riding and saddle bronc riding.

In 2017 Raelee won the High Plains Youth Rodeo Finals in bareback riding, qualifying her for the Junior World Finals. Again, the following year, she qualified for the High Plains Finals in bareback riding. In 2019, she qualified for the Junior World Finals in saddle bronc riding.

Raelee is the Secretary of the Little Powder 4-H Club. She helps her community through 4-H trash clean-ups, and helping her neighbors work cattle. Her scholastic ambition is to excel in her studies through high school.

She would like to represent Crook County as the next Rodeo Junior Princess so she can serve her county, have fun, and represent the cowboy way of life. Raelee is sponsored by Shield 5 Quarter Horses of Oshoto.

Queen

Teagan Timberman

Teagan Timberman is the daughter of Jobee and Jamie Timberman of Moorcroft, Wyoming. She was a graduate of Moorcroft High School this spring. Her scholastic ambition is to attend the University of Wyoming in the fall to seek a degree in Criminal Justice.

She enjoys rodeoing, drawing and showing animals. Teagan participates in volleyball, basketball, track and numerous rodeo events including barrels, poles, goat tying, breakaway and ranch horse competitions.

Teagan is a member of the Whitcomb FFA Chapter, National Honor Society, FFA Counseling Team and her local 4-H Club. She has been an active participant in her community by helping with community clean-ups, serving food at Jubilee, helping at the kids’ corral and being an FFA leadership camp

counselor.

She would like to become the next Crook County Rodeo Queen because she was born and raised here, and wants to give back to her county with integrity. Crook County has molded her into the person she has become today, and holds a special place in her heart.

The public is invited to attend the horsemanship competition on Friday, July 16 at 6 p.m. at the Moorcroft Rodeo Arena. The crowning of the upcoming royalty is on Saturday, July 31 at 11:30 a.m. at the Sundance Arena.
