The firemen’s benefit July 4 event hosted at the Devils Tower KOA was a hit, according to Teresa Brown, who helped man the grill at the event. “It’s really nice; a lot of good people are here,” she said.
On hand were several games and challenges for young and old alike as well as lemonade and slushies to keep cool as everyone waited for the barbecue dinner of brats and burgers.
Despite fireworks not being allowed due to the high fire danger, plenty of fun was available for July 4 revelers.
All donations from the event will go to local fire and EMS departments.
