Continuing the Crook County News Since 1884
Our Thanks
May 19 was the last RT-130 fire training class but on by Wyo. State Forestry for 2021. In about a month the certificates will be available through the zone warden in your area.
We had about 50 people attend the training – twice what we expected. It was wonderful to see such interest from people from all over the county.
It may be a long, rough fire season. Every one of you can be a valuable asset. Thanks for attending.

Our Thanks
The family of Richard “Dickie” Proctor sends thank you messages and much gratitude to our family and friends for their many expressions of sympathy during the past weeks. The kind words, the thoughts/memories of our Father/Dad, the hugs and the generous contributions to the memorials brought warmth to our souls and smiles to our faces. As someone said, our Father was a “kind, strong, quiet man” who loved his family and the communities of Sundance and Hulett.
A special thank you to JoAnne Moore and Annemarie Delgado from the Church of the Good Shepherd Episcopal for their spiritual guidance. We certainly appreciated the help of Tom and Larry at Fidler-Isburg Funeral Home.
We felt the celebration of his life was made even more special with the musical talents of our cousins – Cal, Kevin and Neal. We loved the memories shared by Aunt Tiny, Charlie Jones and Mark Williams.
Thank you to all who took time on Sunday to celebrate our Dad. Sundance is a great community for us all to call our “hometown.”
With sincere appreciation,
