Great showings for Bulldogs at two track meets

The Bulldog runners had a busy week last week participating in two track meets. Travelling to Belle Fourche on Tuesday, the Hofland sisters took top honors in the disc and shot competitions as Hunter Skeens took the top spot in the 3200m race.

A Bulldog medley, composed of Josh Pridgeon, Keaton Mills, Ryder Dowdney and Hunter Skeets, also took top honors in their race.

The Bulldogs continued to rack up top honors as they competed in Wright on Saturday. Keaton Mills topped the high jump for the Bulldogs going 5-5 for the day in the field events on the boys’ side.

Brook Hofland threw 106-10 in the discus, earning herself another top honor on the girls’ side of the field events. In the running events, a multitude of Bulldogs found their way into the top five spots in multiple events.

Hunter Skeens ran away with the 1600m and 800m races, placing first in each event. On the girls’ side, Brook Hofland placed second in the 200m race, followed closely by sister Bailey, who placed third, while Riley Marchant placed third in the 400m and fifth in the 100m and 800m races.

The Bulldogs hope to continue in their winning ways at their home meet this Friday, starting at 10 a.m.
