Continuing the Crook County News Since 1884
The annual blood draws are complete and it’s time for the results, which will be available this weekend at the Crook County Health Fair.
According to CEO Micki Lyons of Crook County Medical Services District, county residents turned out in record numbers this year for the wellness draws, taking advantage of the blood draw panels that provide an overall profile of a person’s health.
As always, the community is able to collect their results during the health fair, which will take place in the gymnasium of Sundance High School.
Along with collecting your results, visitors will have the opportunity to browse booths from local business and try your luck at winning one of the numerous giveaways.
A full range of booths are expected to be present this year, including those that form the foundation of the event such as the CCMSD lab, long term care, human resources, chronic care management and emergency services.
In addition, the booths this year include Soul Roots LLC, Bear Lodge Rehab, Black Hills Life Flight, Sundance Masonic Lodge #9, Wyoming Relay, Crook County Library, Crook County Public Health and Vilas Pharmacy.
The health fair is scheduled for 9 a.m. until noon on May 1.
