Continuing the Crook County News Since 1884

This Week at Your Library

We are still doing curbside and delivery if you would prefer not to come inside. The statewide mask mandate has ended, but if you want to wear a mask in the library, we have masks available. Children under 13 MUST be accompanied by an adult. Two computers are available for adults. Teen and children’s computers are not available. We will start allowing teens and children to use the computers and kid’s iPads on April 1. The Meeting Room is now open for meetings, parties, etc. Please call the library for more information and availability. Thanks to the generosity of Les Fullerton’s family, we now have the Les Fullerton Memorial that will be paying for InterLibrary Loan requests, as long as the money lasts. If you would like to contribute to this memorial to keep InterLibrary Loans free for our patrons, please let us know.

Displays: In anticipation of Easter, we have Joanne Moore’s egg collection on display.

Library Programming: Meetings scheduled for now: CROOK COUNTY LIBRARY BOARD meeting Thursday, April 8, at 1 p.m. in Hulett. CROOK COUNTY LIBRARY FOUNDATION BOARD meeting Wednesday, April 21, at 5:30 p.m. in Sundance. FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY meetings have been postponed until further notice. EDUCATIONAL TV: Right now, we are streaming the Wyoming Legislature when they are in session, and the Crook County Commissioner meetings on the first Tuesday and Wednesday of each month. When there are no meetings, we will be running videos on Black Hills and South Dakota history from the Journey Museum and Learning Center.
