Gene Bock was down from Warren’s Peak Saturday and reported the snow softening up fast in the mountains. The soft snow made it hard traveling for a team, and it is doubtful if Charlie Sackett ever gets to his fish pond in the Bear Lodge without a boat or an aeroplane. Spring weather has been intermittent for the past month, and last Sunday morning the robins had gathered courage to render their regular spring songs.
