Continuing the Crook County News Since 1884
The library will be closed Monday, February 15, for Presidents’ Day.
The library doors are open. We will still be doing curbside delivery if you would prefer not to come inside. We do ask that you wear a mask to enter the library. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided. Children under 13 MUST be accompanied by an adult. Two computers are available for adults. Teen and Children’s computers are not available.
Displays: We do not have a display for this month. If you have a collection that you would like the world (or at least Sundance!) to see, please let us know. We have two locking cases that we would love to use to display your treasures!
Library Programming: ALL IN-LIBRARY PROGRAMMING HAS BEEN POSTPONED. Meetings scheduled for now: CROOK COUNTY LIBRARY BOARD meeting Thursday, February 4, at 1 p.m. in Sundance. CROOK COUNTY LIBRARY FOUNDATION BOARD meeting Wednesday, April 21, at 5:30 p.m. in Sundance. FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY meetings have been postponed until further notice. There will not be a Valentine’s Traveling Bake Sale this year, due to the pandemic. We are streaming the Wyoming Legislature when they are in session, and the Crook County Commissioner meetings on the first Tuesday and Wednesday of each month. When there are no meetings, we will be running videos on Black Hills and South Dakota history from the Journey Museum and Learning Center.
