COVID-19 Daily Update - January 22

Wyoming's total lab confirmed cases of COVID-19 have increased by 110 since yesterday and now stand at 43,151. Probable cases have increased by 49 to 7432.

Crook County has had a total of 374 confirmed cases and 33 probables after 2 new probable cases were added today. Of those cases, 6 confirmed and 2 probable are currently active.

571 people have died as a result of COVID-19 in Wyoming after 21 new deaths were reported today, including one older adult Crook County man who died in December. Crook County has now recorded 10 deaths.

A total of 41,040 confirmed and 6924 probable cases have recovered.

Regarding new laboratory-confirmed cases,Teton County had 22; Natrona County had 21; Laramie County had 19; both Sweetwater and Uinta counties had 12 new cases; Sheridan County had eight more; Albany County had six; Lincoln County had five; Fremont County had four; Washakie County had three; Carbon and Crook counties had two each; Converse County reported just one new case.

Seven counties reported no new coronavirus cases: Big Horn, Campbell, Goshen, Hot Springs, Johnson, Niobrara and Weston.

The Health Department shows a decrease of one case in Sublette County, a decrease of two cases in Park County and a decrease of four cases in Platte County.

The number of active coronavirus cases in the state was 1696, a decrease of 214 cases from yesterday's 1910.
