COVID-19 Daily Update - January 8

Wyoming's total lab confirmed cases of COVID-19 have increased by 406 since yesterday and now stand at 39,882. Probable cases have increased by 72 to 6765.

Crook County has had a total of 365 confirmed cases and 30 probables after 3 new confirmed cases were reported today. Of those cases, 8 confirmed and 1 probable are currently active.

489 people have died as a result of COVID-19 in Wyoming. Crook County has now recorded 9 deaths.

A total of 37,921 confirmed and 6358 probable cases have recovered.

Teton County saw an increase of 86 coronavirus cases since yesterday; Sweetwater County had an increase of 45; Park County had 43 new cases; Natrona County had 41; Laramie County had 37; Campbell County had 32; Albany County had 31; Sheridan County had 20 new cases; Fremont County had 12; Big Horn County had 11; Uinta and Lincoln counties both had nine; Goshen, Hot Springs, Platte and Sublette counties had four new cases each; Carbon, Crook and Johnson counties had three each; Washakie and Weston counties had two new cases each; Converse County had one; Niobrara County reported no new cases.

The number of active coronavirus cases in the state was 1879, an increase of 149 cases over yesterday's 1730.
