COVID-19 Daily Update - December 8

Wyoming's total lab confirmed cases of COVID-19 have increased by 359 since yesterday and now stand at 32,234. Probable cases have increased by 131 to 4920.

Crook County has had a total of 310 confirmed cases and 24 probables after 5 new confirmed cases were reported today. Of those cases, 35 confirmed and 3 probable are currently active.

280 people have died as a result of COVID-19 in Wyoming . Crook County has now recorded 6 deaths.

A total of 28,157 confirmed and 4077 probable cases have recovered.

Laramie County saw the largest increase in new confirmed cases at 167; Natrona County reported 26 new cases; Sweetwater County saw 23 new cases; Park County's case numbers increased by 20; Albany and Campbell counties each reported 13 new cases; Sheridan and Teton counties had 11 new cases; Fremont County saw 10; Lincoln and Uinta had nine; Big Horn and Goshen counties added eight cases; Washakie County reported seven; Carbon, Crook, Platte and Sublette counties had five new cases; Weston County recorded four; and Converse County added one new case.

The Health Department said the number of confirmed cases went down by one in Hot Springs County.

The number of active coronavirus cases in Wyoming on Monday was down by 756, from 5,717 to 4,961.
