COVID-19 Daily Update - November 9

Wyoming's total lab confirmed cases of COVID-19 have increased by 620 since yesterday and now stand at 15,311. Probable cases have increased by 80 to 2699.

Crook County has had a total of 157 confirmed cases and 13 probables after 4 new confirmed cases were announced today. Of those cases, 63 confirmed and 2 probable are currently active.

114 people have died as a result of COVID-19 in Wyoming. 1 death involved a Crook County resident.

A total of 9139 confirmed and 1560 probable cases have recovered.

Laramie County reported 145 new coronavirus cases; Natrona County had 136; Albany County had 77; Fremont County had 59; Sweetwater County had 48; Campbell and Teton counties each reported 30; Goshen and Sheridan counties each had 20; Park County had 15 new cases; Uinta County had 14.

Converse County had five new cases; Crook County and Weston County both had four new cases; Johnson, Lincoln and Niobrara counties each reported three new cases; Hot Springs and Washakie counties had two each; Big Horn and Carbon counties had one each.

The Health Department shows a decrease of one coronavirus case in both Platte and Sublette counties.

The number of active coronavirus cases in Wyoming on Monday was 7197, an increase of 316 over yesterday's 6881.

Of the statewide metrics used to make decisions regarding the virus, five of six are marked as "concerning": the percentage of all tests with a positive result over the last two weeks, new cases and total reported hospital admissions due to COVID-19, total hospital bed availability and total ICU bed availability.

The sixth metric is marked as "stable" (amber level): percentage of cases attributed to community spread.
