COVID-19 Daily Update - October 28

Wyoming's total lab confirmed cases of COVID-19 have increased by 253 since yesterday and now stand at 10,288. Probable cases have increased by 87 to 1858.

Crook County has had a total of 101 confirmed cases and 11 probables after 3 new confirmed cases were reported today. Of those cases, 36 confirmed and 2 probable are currently active.

77 people have died as a result of COVID-19 in Wyoming. 1 of those deaths was a Crook County resident.

A total of 6918 confirmed and 1187 probable cases have recovered.

Fremont County reported an additional 47 confirmed coronavirus cases; Albany County's cases are up by 31; Natrona County's increased by 29; Laramie County's by 23; Sweetwater County has 19 new cases; Campbell County reported 17 new cases; Park County has an additional 12 cases, which Sheridan and Teton counties each report 11 new cases; There are seven more cases in both Lincoln and Uinta County; Platte and Weston counties have six new cases; Sublette County has five new cases; Goshen and Carbon counties each have four more; Converse, Crook and Hot Springs counties each reported three new cases; Johnson and Washakie counties have two new cases each; Big Horn County reports one new case.

The number of active coronavirus cases in Wyoming on Wednesday was 3964, an increase of 141 over Tuesday's 3823.

Of the statewide metrics used to make decisions regarding the virus, the percentage of all tests with a positive result over the last two weeks, new cases and total reported hospital admissions due to COVID-19 are marked as "concerning".

The three other metrics are marked as "stable" (amber level): percentage of cases attributed to community spread, total hospital bed availability and total ICU bed availability.
