COVID-19 Daily Update - October 8

Wyoming's total lab confirmed cases of COVID-19 have increased by 165 since yesterday and now stand at 6031. Probable cases have increased by 28 to 1061.

Crook County has had a total of 48 confirmed cases and 7 probables after 1 new case was announced today. Of those cases, 11 confirmed are currently active.

54 people have died as a result of COVID-19 in Wyoming after one new death was reported today.

A total of 4767 confirmed and 836 probable cases have recovered.

Albany and Fremont counties report 22 new cases; Laramie County reports 21 new cases; Campbell shows 16 new cases; Sheridan County reports 15; and Natrona County has 14. Teton County has 12 new coronavirus cases.

Converse County has 9 more cases; Lincoln County has 6; Uinta County has 5; Carbon, Sweetwater and Washakie counties have 4; Big Horn and Sublette counties have 3 new cases; Park County has 2; and Crook, Goshen and Platte counties each have 1 new case.

The total number of active coronavirus cases statewide is now 1,436, an increase of 94 over yesterday's 1,342.

Of the statewide metrics used to make decisions regarding the virus, all metrics are "stable" (amber level), except new cases and total reported hospital admissions due to COVID-19, which are both marked as "concerning" (red level).
