Continuing the Crook County News Since 1884
Busted computer taking up space under your desk? Need to get rid of your old phone, but don’t want to risk its data being accessed by someone else?
Crook County Natural Resource District has been solving this problem for the last few years with annual e-cycling events. Once again this October, you will have two chances to recycle your unwanted electronics at events in Hulett and Sundance.
Sponsored by the two towns, Crook County and ProTech Computing, the events will be held in Hulett on October 1 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and on October 3 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the county fairgrounds rodeo arena in Sundance.
The first 100 pounds you bring to be recycled are free, after which the cost is 35 cents per pound. Please be aware that space on the trailer is limited, so the event will come to an end once it has been filled – come early to be sure of your spot.
