COVID-19 Daily Update - September 9

Wyoming's total lab confirmed cases of COVID-19 have increased by 37 since yesterday and now stand at 3520. Probable cases have increased by 11 to 631.

Crook County has had a total of 15 confirmed cases after 1 new case was identified yesterday. Of those cases, 4 are currently active.

42 people have died as a result of COVID-19 in Wyoming.

A total of 2974 confirmed and 510 probable cases have recovered.

Carbon, Converse, Johnson, Sublette, Teton and Weston counties all reported an increase of 1 case of coronavirus; Lincoln and Sweetwater counties each have 2 new cases; Campbell County has 3 new cases; Laramie County has 5 new cases; Park County has 6 more; and Albany and Natrona counties each have 7 more coronavirus cases.

The Health Department also reports another decrease of 1 case in Uinta County.

The total number of active coronavirus cases statewide is now 625, up 15 from 610.

Of the statewide metrics used to make decisions regarding the virus, all metrics are "stable" (amber level), except new cases and total reported hospital admissions due to COVID-19, which are both marked as "concerning" (red level), and percent of all tests with a new positive result, which is "improved" (green level).
