Scholarship

Emma Jay with Undersheriff Todd Leimser. Jay was recently awarded a $500 scholarship from the Crook County Sheriff’s Office Association for her continuing education. Emma is a sophomore this year at Casper College. She is double majoring in general agriculture and elementary education. Emma is from Hulett and was very active in the FFA chapter there before graduating. The Association offers a chance for a spring scholarship and a fall scholarship worth $250 each, but this year they did not receive any applications for the spring scholarships so they were able to give Emma a bigger award.
