COVID-19 Daily Update - August 23

Wyoming's total lab confirmed cases of COVID-19 have increased today by 37 and now stand at 3046. Probable cases have decreased by 1 to 533.

Crook County has had a total of 13 confirmed cases. Of those cases, 3 are currently active.

37 people have died as a result of COVID-19 in Wyoming after 3 new deaths were added yesterday.

A total of 2444 confirmed and 452 probable cases have recovered.

Campbell, Carbon, Converse, Hot Springs, Washakie and Weston counties each reported 1 new case. Albany, Fremont and Park saw 2 new cases each. Goshen, Natrona and Sublette counties had 3 new cases. Laramie and Sheridan county case counts each went up by 4. Teton County reported 8 new cases.

The total number of active coronavirus cases statewide is now 646, up 19 from 627.

Of the statewide metrics used to make decisions regarding the virus, all metrics are "stable" (amber level), except new cases and total reported hospital admissions due to COVID-19, which are both marked as "concerning" (red level).
