COVID-19 Daily Update - August 21

Wyoming's total lab confirmed cases of COVID-19 have increased today by 54 and now stand at 2994. Probable cases have increased by 2 to 530.

Crook County has had a total of 13 confirmed cases. Of those cases, 3 are currently active.

37 people have died as a result of COVID-19 in Wyoming after 3 new deaths were added today.

A total of 2414 confirmed and 450 probable cases have recovered.

19 people are currently hospitalized in Wyoming due to the coronavirus, an increase of 1 from yesterday.

The number of coronavirus cases in Albany County increased by 19.

In both Converse and Teton counties, cases increased by 1. There are 2 more cases in Campbell, Carbon, Hot Springs and Sublette counties. Park, Sheridan and Sweetwater counties each have 3 more cases; Laramie and Natrona counties each have 4 more. Fremont County reports 8 new cases.

The total number of active coronavirus cases statewide is now 623, up from 608.

Of the statewide metrics used to make decisions regarding the virus, all metrics are "stable" (amber level), except new cases and total reported hospital admissions due to COVID-19, which are both marked as "concerning" (red level).
