Sundance Square also beginning to take shape
Slowly but surely, Old Stoney is creeping towards the finish line. The final hurdle is close to being crossed with the arrival of the flow control valve needed to get a certificate of occupancy.
Public Works Director Mac Erickson reported last week at the Sundance City Council meeting on the fire suppression system in the old building. In May, the state fire marshal declined to grant an occupancy award on the basis that this system did not meet requirements.
As the city was going to need to extend a water line down the street in front of Old Stoney anyway, to serve the new Sundance Square park...
