COVID-19 Daily Update - August 16

Wyoming's total lab confirmed cases of COVID-19 have increased today by 59 and now stand at 2789. Probable cases remain at 497.

Crook County has had a total of 11 confirmed cases. Of those cases, 10 have recovered.

30 people have died as a result of COVID-19 in Wyoming.

A total of 2246 confirmed and 422 probable cases have recovered.

Since yesterday afternoon, the number of coronavirus cases in Carbon County has increased by 38.

Albany, Lincoln and Sweetwater counties each report an increase of 1 case; Goshen County has 2 more cases; Fremont County has 3 more; Sheridan and Teton counties each have 4 new cases; Laramie County has 5 more.

The total number of active coronavirus cases statewide is now 590, up 50 from 540.

Of the statewide metrics used to make decisions regarding the virus, all metrics are "stable" (amber level), except new cases and total reported hospital admissions due to COVID-19, which are both marked as "concerning" (red level).
