Range Telephone Cooperative and its three subsidiary companies have announced that they are to unite under one brand name with a new look and logo. The rebranding will not affect customers and cooperative members, says Chief Marketing Officer Jason Wille, other than receiving the benefit of combined network capabilities and industry expertise.
The rebranding will bring Range Telephone Cooperative, RT Communications (RT), Advanced Communications Technology (ACT) and Dubois Telephone Exchange (DTE) together under one brand name: Range.
“This is not a merger as ACT, DTE and RT are wholly-owned subsidiaries of Range. We are just combining four individual brands into one, next-level look and feel,” says Wille.
Though the three subsidiaries are not cooperatives like their parent company, Wille assures that the structure of each will remain intact.
“The cooperative will not change. If you are a current member of the cooperative in Sundance, you will stay a cooperative member,” Wille says.
“Our subsidiary customers (ACT, DTE, and RT) will not become members of the cooperative…If you are not a current cooperative member today, you will not be after this rebrand.”
The company will still be headquartered in Forsyth, MT and will have regional offices in Sheridan, Worland and Dubois. Range has stated that the rebrand will not impact service or monthly bills.
“We will continue to be your local broadband, voice and technology leader in our communities. You can expect to speak and work with all the same great staff that provides you excellent service today,” said CEO Rob Johnstone in a press release about the rebrand.
“One brand is a game-changer for us as a company and fulfills our mission to provide a quality customer experience.”
