COVID-19 Daily Update - July 30

According to Thursday's update from the Department of Health, Wyoming's total lab confirmed cases of COVID-19 have increased by 45 and now stand at 2217.

Probable cases have increased by 13 to 469. There are currently 18 people hospitalized with COVID-19 in Wyoming.

Crook County has had a total of 9 confirmed cases. All have recovered.

26 people have died as a result of COVID-19 in Wyoming.

Of the confirmed cases, 1703 are now reported to have recovered, and 362 of the probable cases.

The largest increase in coronavirus cases is in Teton County, which reported 13 new cases. Fremont and Sheridan counties each report 5 new cases; Natrona County has 4; Sweetwater and Park counties each have 3 new cases; Albany, Campbell, Laramie and Uinta all have 2 new cases; Hot Springs, Lincoln, Sublette and Washakie counties each have 1 additional case.

The total number of active coronavirus cases statewide is now 597, up from 582.

Of the statewide metrics used to make decisions regarding the virus, "Total ICU Bed Availability" has been downgraded from improved to stable (green to amber level). All other metrics are also at this level, except new cases and total reported hospital admissions due to COVID-19, which are both marked as "concerning" (red level).
