COVID-19 Daily Update - July 29

According to Wednesday's update from the Department of Health, Wyoming's total lab confirmed cases of COVID-19 have increased by 36 and now stand at 2172.

Probable cases have increased by 3 to 456. There are currently 16 people hospitalized with COVID-19 in Wyoming.

Crook County has had a total of 9 confirmed cases. All have recovered.

26 people have died as a result of COVID-19 in Wyoming.

Campbell, Carbon, Fremont, Natrona, Park and Uinta counties each reported 1 new coronavirus case; Albany, Big Horn, Goshen and Lincoln counties have 2 more cases; Sweetwater County has 6 new cases; Teton County has 7; Laramie County has 9 more.

The total number of active coronavirus cases statewide is now 582, down from 595.

Of the statewide metrics used to make decisions regarding the virus, "Total ICU Bed Availability" has been downgraded from improved to stable (green to amber level). All other metrics are also at this level, except new cases and total reported hospital admissions due to COVID-19, which are both marked as "concerning" (red level).
