COVID-19 Daily Update - July 19

According to Sunday's update from the Department of Health, Wyoming's total lab confirmed cases of COVID-19 have increased by 15 and now stand at 1728.

Probable cases have increased by 3 to 398. There are currently 19 people hospitalized with COVID-19 in Wyoming.

Crook County has a total of 9 confirmed cases. 7 have recovered.

24 people have died as a result of COVID-19 in Wyoming.

There is 1 more coronavirus case in Hot Springs, Laramie, Sweetwater and Washakie counties. There are 11 additional cases in Teton County.

Statewide, the department's current figures show that 1303 confirmed cases and 312 probable cases have recovered.

The total number of active cases in the state is 489, up 14 from yesterday.

Of the six metrics devised by state government to make decisions regarding the pandemic, two are marked as concerning: the number of new cases and the total number of COVID-19 admissions reported by hospitals. All others are marked as stable, except the percentage of all tests that come back positive, which is said to be improved.
