This Week at Your Library

Monday, June 1, we will be open BY APPOINTMENT ONLY for patrons to enter. Our hours will go back to 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Please call 283-1006.

Our guidelines:

• Maximum of five people (non-staff) will be permitted in the library at one time.

• At-risk populations only will be allowed in the library the first two hours of each day.

• Maximum length of stay in the library shall be limited to 30 minutes.

• Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

• Hand sanitizer stations and sanitizing wipes will be made available throughout the libraries.

• Patrons who are visibly ill or coughing excessively may be asked to leave the facility.

• Patrons will be strongly encourage to use cloth face masks while using the library facility. These would not be provided by the library.

• The public will be encouraged to wipe down their areas before use (internet computers and seating areas) using the wipes provided. Staff will also be wiping down Internet computers.

• Patrons and staff will follow social-distancing guidelines.

• Number of chairs will be reduced throughout the building to accommodate social distancing.

• All fabric chairs will be temporarily removed.

• Number of public computer terminals will be reduced throughout the building to accommodate social distancing guidelines.

• All items being returned by customers in-person, through the book drop or through the mail will undergo disinfecting and quarantining prior to re-shelving.

• Staff will sanitize high traffic areas on a regular basis, including the service desks. Internet computer stations will be wiped down after each use.

• Interlibrary loan services will remain suspended.

• Meeting rooms will NOT be available for public use.

• Curb-side delivery of materials will be provided if requested.

• Virtual storytimes will continue to be created and made available on the private Facebook page.

Library Programming: ALL PROGRAMMING IS SUSPENDED FOR NOW. Meetings scheduled for now: CROOK COUNTY LIBRARY BOARD meeting Thursday, June 4, at 1 p.m. in Sundance. CROOK COUNTY LIBRARY FOUNDATION BOARD meeting Wednesday, July 15, at 5:30 p.m. in Sundance.
