Chairman, Roger Connett called to order the regular meeting of the Crook County Land Use Planning & Zoning Commission May 11, 2020 at 7:01 p.m.

Amend and Adopt the Agenda

Chairman, Roger Connett asked if there were any amendments to the agenda. Mary Yemington made a motion to adopt the agenda; Terry Wilkerson seconded, all ayes, motion carried.

Approval of the Minutes

Chairman, Roger Connett asked if there were any additions or corrections to the March meeting minutes. Terry Wilkerson made a motion to approve the minutes from the regular meeting held March 9, 2020; Mary Yemington seconded, all ayes, motion carried.

New Business

Public Hearing – Replat of Brengle No. 1 Minor Subdivision Lot 2

Chairman, Roger Connett opened the public hearing for the Replat of Brengle No. 1 Minor Subdivision Lot 2 application at 7:05 p.m. and asked for someone to provide some background information for this replat application. Information was provided by the project surveyor, Matt Goodson, the Crook County Growth & Development Administrator, Tim Lyons and Ken Belgarde also provided additional information. Discussion was held concerning the boundary changes. Chairman, Roger Connett asked if there were any additional comments from anyone attending the meeting. Mary Yemington made a motion to move the subdivision application on to the Board of County Commissioners with the recommendation of approval; Vice-Chairman, Cody Galloway seconded, all ayes, motion carried. Chairman, Roger Connett closed the public hearing for the subdivision application at 7:25 p.m.

Public Hearing – Replat of Vista West No. 1 Subdivision Lot 1, Block 3 & Lot 7, Block 2

Chairman, Roger Connett opened the public hearing for the Replat of Vista West No. 1 Subdivision Lot 1, Block 3 & Lot 7, Block 2 at 7:35 p.m. and asked Vice-Chairman, Cody Galloway to explain the issue with surveying company “All Aspect Surveying” not being registered with the Wyoming Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors. Crook County Growth & Development Administrator, Tim Lyons stated that he would contact the surveyor and address this issue. Additional discussion was held concerning the mortgages on the subject property and a few needed plat revisions. Chairman, Roger Connett asked if anyone had any additional questions or concerns. Vice Chairman, Cody Galloway made a motion to move the subdivision application on to the Board of County Commissioners with the recommendation of approval with the conditions that the plat revisions are completed, the signatures from the mortgage companies are received and that All Aspect Surveying register the business with the Wyoming Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors and the Wyoming Secretary of State; Terry Wilkerson seconded, all ayes, motion carried. Chairman, Roger Connett closed the public hearing for the subdivision application at 7:54 p.m.

Remnant Parcels Created by Subdivision Processes

Chairman, Roger Connett opened the discussion and asked Vice-Chairman, Cody Galloway to explain the issue. Discussion was held; no action taken.

Adjourned

Terry Wilkerson made a motion to adjourn the meeting; Mary Yemington seconded, all ayes, motion carried. The Crook County Land Use Planning & Zoning Commission regular monthly meeting adjourned at 8:10 p.m.
