PROCEEDINGS OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AT THE COURTHOUSE IN SUNDANCE, CROOK COUNTY, WYOMING

4:00 o’clock p.m. Present for the emergency meeting were Chairman Kelly B. Dennis (per conference call), Vice-Chairwoman Jeanne A. Whalen, Member Fred M. Devish and County Clerk Linda Fritz.
Discussion was held on the Coronavirus and the need to appoint an Incident Commander. There was discussion on a resolution appointing the IC. The decision was made to watch the Governor’s live conference at 4:30 p.m. first before any action was taken. The live conference was watched until 5:20 p.m.
Fred made a motion that the Crook County Public Health Office is appointed to be the point of contact for the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) response to coordinate with the County Office of Homeland Security and the Public Health Officer Dr. James Larson, as specified by the Crook County Emergency Operating Plan. Jeanne seconded, all ayes, motion carried. Also present were Jeff Hodge, Morgan Ellsbury, Melanie Wilmer, Dr. Larsen, Judge Castano, Joe Baron, Jill Mackey, Tim Lyons, Carolyn Fowler, Sarah Pridgeon, Theresa Curren, Ed Robinson, Tina Wood, Becky Tinsley, Tammy Jundt, Larry Schommer, Justin Davidson, Ken Kary and Cindi Baudhuin.
The Board of County Commissioners will meet in a special meeting on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. to ratify the motion made in the emergency meeting and to discuss any further action needed.
The meeting adjourned at 5:30 o’clock p.m. to meet in regular on April 7 and 8, 2020 at 8:30 o’clock a.m., in the Commissioner Room at the Courthouse in Sundance, Wyoming.
