Continuing the Crook County News Since 1884
On this past Friday and Saturday, the injury-depleted Sundance Bulldog wrestling team competed in the 20-team Belle Fourche Invitational. The Bulldogs were only able to bring four healthy bodies to the event in Belle Fourche, SD.
Leading the way was Owen Haiar at 120 lbs. The Junior finished 4-1 on the day for a second-place finish in the 20-man bracket. Three other wrestlers competed but were unable to win a match. Those others competing were Lance Weaver at 170 lbs., Gavin Mollenbrink at 220 lbs. and Roman Hrek also at 220 lbs.
On Saturday, February 8 the hopefully healthier Bulldog grapplers will be competing in the always-competitive 20-team Black Hills Classic in Hill City, SD.
