Sundance bell choir hosts event

Read and Ring Super Bell Saturday VIII was held on February 1 in Sundance, hosted by Sundance Community Handbell Choir. Ringers from Sundance, Beulah, Upton, Spearfish, Rapid City, Summerset and Custer attended the morning event sponsored by Area 11, Handbell Musicians of America, on which Sundance Director Janet Lake serves as a board member. 

Ten other events were held simultaneously in the five states in Area 11 – Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, Arizona and New Mexico – with the number of ringers exceeding 250!  

Music, available for a discounted purchase afterwards, was provided by Jeffers Handbell Supply and was sight read in each gathering. 

Sundance Community Handbell Choir is currently recruiting for new ringers. Music experience is not required; training is provided. Contact any choir member for additional information.
