Little Dribblers entertain during halftime

The “Little Dribbler” Program began three years ago and has been growing ever since. In 2017-18 we had 18 athletes begin this program in K-2. This year in 2019-20 we have 48 athletes K-2. 

The purpose of this program is to teach ball handling fundamentals in a fun engaging environment. The students think of this as an obstacle course for basketball and they get very excited to perform during halftime of the Varsity game.

It is exciting that it is bringing big crowds into the kids’ basketball games and promotes engagement between the High School and Elementary sports, building relationships with the bigs and littles. It’s exciting to see the town get more involved.
