Lady Bulldogs headed to Regionals

The Sundance volleyball team closed their regular season play on Saturday travelling to Big Horn to take on the Rams. Things haven’t been easy for the Bulldogs these past few weeks, but they were able to come away with a four-set victory to secure the #2 seed heading into regionals next week.

Sherri Negaard led the Bulldogs in serving as she was able to send three aces across the net for no return. Negaard also was the go-to hitter with 14 kills on the night. Aftyn Marchant kept the Bulldog offense alive, coming up with 14 digs against the Rams.

The Bulldogs finish regular season play with a 21-6 record, 6-1 in the conference.

The regional tournament will take place in Moorcroft on Friday, November 1 and Saturday, November 2. The Sundance Bulldogs will take on the Southeast Cyclones at 11am on Friday. Win or lose, they will play again at 5 p.m. against the winner or loser of the Pine Bluffs/Big Horn match up.
