Mother Nature was not kidding around last week as a couple of balmy fall days in the low 70s were followed by a steep drop in temperature and a day of seemingly constant snowfall on Thursday. Fortunately, though thermometers plummeted worryingly towards the zero mark, the first true snow of the winter was relatively light and fluffy. The warmth slowly began to return over the weekend and the white stuff had started to melt away by the time this week began.
