Lady Bulldogs second at Big Horn

he Sundance Lady Bulldogs were on the court in Big Horn this past weekend as they participated in another tournament. Going two for three in pool play, the Bulldogs competed against Upton, Pine Bluffs and Shoshoni.

As bracket play got underway, Sundance was up against Rocky Mountain first. Winning in two straight sets, 25-20 and 25-22, the Bulldogs moved onto the semifinals to compete against Greybull.

The Lady Bulldogs kept their momentum into game one, walking away with an easy victory, 25-10, but game two saw Greybull fighting to stay alive. Stretching the match into nine extra points, the Bulldogs walked into the championship round with the 34-32 victory.

In the championship round, the Lady Bulldogs were pitted against the ever-tough Wright Panthers and fell 16-25 and 17-25, taking second place overall.

The Lady Bulldogs will host their intracounty rival, the Moorcroft Lady Wolves, on Thursday, September 19. The first serve will go up at 5 with junior high, followed by JV and varsity.
