FALL PREVENTION WORKSHOP BROWN BAG LUNCHEON: Thursday, September 26, at 12 p.m. Falls are the leading cause of death in older adults. Come learn several strength-training exercises to help prevent falls and ways to make your home more fall-proof. This is a sit, watch and learn event; no participation is required. Call the library to RSVP. FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY ANNUAL BOOK SALE: Monday, September 30 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Tuesday, October 1 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Wednesday, October 2 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Library Programming: TODDLER AND PRESCHOOL STORYTIME on Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. September’s themes: “Grandparents”, “Apples”, “Elephant & Piggie” and “Transportation”. There will not be Storytime on October 2. MAKER DAY AT THE LIBRARY: Friday, September 20 from 1 to 4 p.m. for kids in Kindergarten through sixth grade. ADULT CRAFT NIGHT: Stay tuned! MIDNIGHT IN PARIS starring Kathy Bates, Adrien Brody, Rachel McAdams and Owen Wilson. All of the juvenile and young adult books were donated by Debbie Proctor and RoseZella and Richard Proctor in memory of Dana Proctor.
