Join the Black Hills National Forest in honoring two turn of the century conservation leaders, Theodore Roosevelt and Seth Bullock, at a Forest Moonwalk July 13 at 7 p.m. at Mount Roosevelt Friendship Tower near Deadwood.
The famous Deadwood Sheriff and early Forest Supervisor, Seth Bullock, built the Mount Roosevelt Friendship Tower in 1919 as a dedication to President Theodore Roosevelt, his close friend of many years. A 100th rededication was recently held at the Tower on July 6, 2019.
