To honor fallen brethren

Members of the community gathered at the war memorial on Monday afternoon to honor the fallen warriors of Crook County. Those in attendance listened to speeches, heard the governor's proclamation designating May 27 as Memorial Day, held their hands to their hearts or saluted as Taps was played and observed a minute of silence in remembrance.
