Hats were thrown in the air in the traditional celebration as 25 young people left school behind to begin their adult lives. Sundance High School hosted the commencement ceremony on May 19 for the Class of 2019.
Following a welcome speech from Aubrey Schelling Hoard, Class President, the salutatorian address was given by Tanner Hofland and the valedictorian address by Madison Gill. Principal Jim O'Connor provided the introductions and presented diplomas.
Graduates included Skylei Bliss-Christensen, Chyanne Downey, Madison Gill, Jaye Gustafson, Lauren Haiar, Tanner Hofland, Laramie Holst, William Inghram, Klel Johnson, John Julian, Micah Kammerer, Aaron Kanode, Gage Leveque, Teegan Martin, Jordyn Owens, Drake Richards, Gaven Rowell, Aubrey Schelling Hoard, Jerrett Schloredt, Justice Simpson, Brody Skeens, Calvin Smith, Justin Tenke, William Tinsley and Carli Tipton.
