Governor Mark Gordon, with support from the Wyoming Wildlife Foundation, is raffling off a Governor’s Bison License for just $10 to Wyoming residents who are eligible to hunt in the state.
“I wanted to give any Wyoming citizen who enjoys hunting or who has ever considered hunting a chance to experience this time-honored Wyoming tradition,” Governor Gordon said. “Hunting not only provides food for a family but also gives a fabulous way to experience our wildlife in Wyoming’s amazing outdoors. And what could be more authentic than hunting North America’s iconic bison.”
The Governor’s Bison License raffle will allow one Wyoming resident to win a license for just $10. Just as important, the proceeds of all raffle sales will go back to supporting Wyoming’s wildlife and habitats.
“We are incredibly grateful of Governor Gordon’s belief in sustaining Wyoming’s wildlife and outdoor spaces,” said Tony Woodell, Director of the Wyoming Wildlife Foundation. “The dollars raised in raffling this license will directly impact the animals and landscapes around the state we all care so much about.”
All Wyoming residents who are eligible to hunt in Wyoming can enter the raffle. Tickets are limited to one per person, and the bison license is non-transferable. The lucky winning ticket will be drawn during Cheyenne Frontier Days.
