Local athletes attend State Winter Olympics

On February 4-8, the Crook County Special Olympics team competed in the State Winter Olympics in Jackson Hole. State Games are comprised of 200 athletes, 20 unified partners, 140 coaches and chaperones and 23 teams. Below are the results:

Advanced Ski (Slalom, Giant Slalom and Super G) – Breanna Ulmer: Gold, Bronze and Gold; Spencer Ward: Third, Fourth and Gold

Intermediate Ski (Slalom, Giant Slalom and Super G) – Bryce Merchen: Fifth, Second and Third; Adam Perry: Gold, Gold and Bronze; Dalton Byrne: Gold, Silver and Bronze; Bren Anderson: Fifth, Gold and Gold; Weston Allred: Gold, Bronze and Silver; Henry Hodges: Silver, Bronze and Fourth
