Cool to be kind

Public asked to join “kindness missions”

The kids of Sundance Elementary School want you to join them next week in celebrating Random Acts of Kindness Week from February 18 to 22.

“Sundance Elementary headquarters is challenging our classrooms to complete four secret kindness missions of their choosing (dubbed Operation Kindness) throughout the week and would like to challenge the community to do the same,” says Sarah Ellsbury, Administrative Assistant.

The school will also be issuing daily challenges to staff and students that members of the community might be interested to try. On Monday, compliment someone; on Tuesday, smile at someone; on Wednesday, high five someone; and on Thursday, make someone laugh.

“Our goal is to continue to create a culture of kindness and willingness to help someone out, and we want to challenge our little town to do the same,” says Ellsbury
